Pencil inscription and sticker to front free endpaper and paste-down, with a few small nicks along text block edge. Slight cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Small scuff to page XVI. Occasional thumb-marking and marginalia present throughout. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with mild bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Heavy tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Boards are subtly bowed. Light mottling to front and rear board. Paint across lower spine end.
