Told in comic-strip style, this book relates eleven colourful action-packed tales about Robin and his merry band. How Robin becomes an outlaw, gets a ducking from Little John and encounters a disguised Maid Marian in the forest; the stories of Much the Miller's Son, Friar Tuck, Allan-a-Dale, Sir Richard of Legh and the golden arrow. It describes Robin's sworn enemy Sir Guy of Gisborne, Robin's visit from King Richard and the firing of his last arrow. Marcia Williams is the author/illustrator of several picture books, including the retellings "The Amazing Story of Noah's Ark"; "Jonah and the Whale"; "Joseph and his Magnificent Coat of Many Colours"; "Greek Myths"; "Don Quixote" and "Sinbad the Sailor", as well as her own texts "When I was Little" and "Not a Worry in the World".
