Aimed at parents, teachers and others who work closely with children, this book is linked to a BBC1 series on sex education. The first section deals with the discussion of sex, sexuality and relationships with children, the second provides factual information on topics such as periods, intercourse, conception, pregnancy, birth and contraception, and the third discusses issues such as sexual activity, preferences and behaviour (including homosexuality), sexual abuse and AIDS. Short case-studies and quotes from parents and children illustrate problems, strategies, feelings and funny moments.
