Sir Frank Fraser Darling, pioneer ecologist and conservationist, spent many years surveying the wildlife resources of Africa. This book presents his journals which describe the safaris he made by foot, air and motor in Zambia, Kenya and the Sudan in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
