Lion's Busy Day Summary

Lion's Busy Day: Pop-up Stories by Hannah Wood

The colourful Pop-up Stories series combines fun rhyming texts and bright, bold pop-up art to captivate and delight young readers. In Lion's Busy Day, Lion curls up for a snooze, but can't get a moment's peace! First some monkeys need a favour, then a baby giraffe is stuck in the mud, and then a baby elephant needs his help too - and that is just the beginning! Lion helps everyone in turn, then just when he thinks he can finally doze off, up pops a final surprise: his tumbling cubs clamber all over him and announce, "It's playtime, Dad!"
