About Carol Ascher

Carol Ascher is a Senior Research Associate with Teachers College, Columbia University and author of Simone DeBeauvoir: A Life of Freedom. Louise DeSalvo is Professor of English at Hunter College, City University of New York, and has written and edited numerous books on Virginia Woolf. Sara Ruddick is a member of the faculty of the New School for Social Research, and is the author of Maternal Thinking: Towards a Politics of Peace.
