Books by George MacDonald Fraser

George MacDonald Fraser (1925 2008) was a Scottish author best known for his famous the Flashman Papers series and the Private McAuslan stories. He served in the British Army during World War II and spent the rest of his career working for newspapers in the United Kingdom and Canada. In addition to his novels, Fraser wrote screenplays for numerous films, most notably The Three Musketeers and the James Bond film Octopussy. Fraser lived on the Isle of Man, in the United Kingdom, where he died at the age of eighty-two.
