Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Prize plate to front pastedown. Minor pencil marking to front free end-paper. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Further dust marking to both boards. Gilt lettering is darkened. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
