1900. No edition remarks. 528 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Black and white illustrations throughout. Binding is very shaky. Some pages are coming loose and there is cracking to gutters, with exposed netting. A couple of bottom corners have been lost. A number of small tears present. Illustrations and pages are moderately tanned with some foxing. Boards have heavy edge wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. A couple of chalky marks to boards. Fraying to cloth at spine ends and corners. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.
