Water staining throughout, however text remains readable. Plates and map are moderately tanned and foxed. Previous owner's inscription to reverse side of frontispiece. Dog-eared corners with creasing. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rub wear all over. Large splits to joints, causing rear board to be loose. Small area of loss to spine ends. Scuffing to boards, with leather peeling to spine.
