Vol. CXL (Jan - June, 510 pages) and Vol. CXLI (July - Dec, 484 pages). Binding remains reasonably firm however 4 unnumbered pages at the start are detached but still present. Pages remain bright and clear with minimal tanning and foxing, more pronounced to end-papers and paste-downs. Mild cracking to front hinge, however the rest of the pages remain firmly attached. Minimal rust marks to gutters, text unaffected. Occasional chips and tears to text block edges. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces with white marks. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Mild tanning to spine. Small splits to spine edges, causing cloth to be slightly frayed. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning.
