Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Heavy cracking at the hinges with exposed binding material. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding reasonably firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Loss to spine. Leather rubbed and peeling.
