Slight crinkling to paper at gutters, however binding remains firm. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper, with small ownership label to front endpaper. Plates are moderately tanned with some foxing. Boards have noticeable edge wear with corner bumping. Visible sunning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Black marks overall. Book is bowed and forward leaning.
