Illustrations and plates are bright and clear, with some light tanning and foxing to edges. Markings to pages throughout. Gilt to text block edges. Water stains and tears to first few pages edges, text remains unaffected. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rub wear all over. Slight crushing to spine ends with chipping to leather. Paper residue to rear board. Heavy wear marks overall. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.
