Lengthy previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Plates are lightly tanned with minor markings. Small hole to front pastedown. Folded panoramas reinforced with white tape to seams. Corners are slightly curled, with faint thumb-marking to reverse side. Boards have noticeable edge wear with corner bumping. Visible sunning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Small splits with fraying to spine ends. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Small hole with minor loss to front board. Faint water marks to both boards.
