Title page is missing. Pages are moderately tanned with noticeable foxing throughout. Heavy cracking to front hinge, causing board, free endpaper, and frontispiece to be loose. Painted inscription to front endpaper. Binding throughout is slightly loose. Plates are moderately tanned with some foxing. Gilt text block edges. Boards have been moderately rub worn, with noticeable shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a little frayed and spine ends are crushed, with small splits and chips. Noticeable tanning to spine and edges. Gilt lettering is darkened. Small white ink dots to front board. Water staining with bleaching spots overall. Noticeable black marks to all surfaces. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning.
