Black and white illustrative plates and a colour frontispiece. Binding remains firm. Crinkling to pages at gutters. Pages remain bright and clear with minimal tanning. Occasional foxing. Pencil inscription to first title page. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. There is bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Tanning to spine and edges. Gilt lettering is darkened. Book has a slight forward lean.
