No Edition Remarks. 351 pages. Quarter bound red leather with marbled paper covered boards and with a black and white illustrated frontis and illustrated black and white plates throughout. Text is in French. Heavy tanning to pages with cracks to guttering with exposed netting. Rough cut text block edges and trimmed to top with some minor foxing. Boards have noticeable rubbing and edge wear with moderate bumping to corners. Fair crushing to spine ends with the head end of spine peeling exposing binding underneath with small area of loss to head end. There is also small water marks to rear and book is slightly forward leaning.
