This report seeks to reappraise the role of music for worship in a developing church and in a changing society. Separate chapters are devoted to parish churches, cathedrals, non-Anglican churches, religious communities and the Church worldwide. The training needs of clergy and church musicians, both young and old, are considered, as is the use of various musical styles and modes of worship in differing liturgical situations.
