Geraldine and the Space Bees is the second book in the Geraldine series. In Space Bees, the book begins with Geraldine watering her moms flowers. She notices that there arent as many bees flying around the plants as usual. The next day at school, her teacher says that they are going on a field trip to the space museum; this is exciting to Geraldine! At the space museum, she learns about different things in space and has a homework assignment to create something to send into outer space. Back at home, she uses her imagination and makes something helpful that will hopefully help save the bees.I think I will like the books in the Geraldine series! She is close to my age and thinks up exciting things to do and make. I did not know much about bees, besides them being important for plants, before reading this book. I now know how important they are and will remember to not be scared of them. Space Bees is for any age of reader who likes colorful illustrations and a fun story. -- Kids' BookBuzz
This story is relevant to our day as well as entertaining. We all are becoming aware of the serious decline in our bee population. The connectivity of all living things trembles when even one delicate part starts to wane. The loss of bees will have a wide effect on what remains. Geraldine's energetic nature and love of invention soon sets her to work on a remedy to the bees' plight. Sol Regwan is an optometrist who loves to write. He is the author of two successful children's books, The Adventures of Pugley Bear and Dylan and His Magical Robot. Each of his stories teaches children a valuable lesson or moral. Denise Muzzio was born in 1990 and spent her early childhood drawing and surrounded by books. When she grew up, she decided to study graphic design, illustration, and animation to keep that inner child alive.
