About Robert J. Sternberg (Cornell University, New York)

Robert J. Sternberg is Professor of Psychology at Cornell University and Honorary Professor of Psychology at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. His PhD is from Stanford University and he holds 13 honorary doctorates. He was awarded the Grawemeyer Award in Psychology, and the William James and James McKeen Cattell Awards of APS. He is past-president of the American Psychological Association, the Federation of Associations in Brain and Behavioral Sciences, and the International Association of Cognitive Education and Psychology. Judith Gluck is Professor of Developmental Psychology at University of Klagenfurt, Austria. Her research investigates how wisdom develops, how it can be measured, how it manifests itself in real life, and how it can be fostered in individuals as well as communities. She has held several grants from the Austrian Science Fund and is published in journals including Annual Review of Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and The Journals of Gerontology: Psychological Sciences.
