Ray A. Rayburn, Senior Consultant with K2 Audio LLC. Member of the AES Standards Working Group on Microphones, and Chair of the Standards sub-committee on Interconnections. Recording engineer. Lifetime interest in microphone use, testing, and design. John Eargle holds multiple degrees in music and engineering, and has consulted extensively on electroacoustical product development. He is President of JME Consulting Corporation and author of The Handbook for Recording Engineering, The Loudspeaker Handbook, Electroacoustical Reference Data and others. Among the many artists he has recorded are the London Symphony, the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Joe Williams, Rush Brown and Etta James. In February 2001 he received a Grammy award for Best Classical Engineering. He is a fellow, honorary member and past president of the Audio Engineering Society. He has served on the faculty of the Aspen Audio Recording Institute since 1980. He is a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
