Summary

Stopmouth and his family know of no other life than the daily battle to survive. To live they must hunt rival species, or negotiate flesh-trade with those who crave meat of the freshest human kind. It is a savage, desperate existence. And for Stopmouth, considered slow-witted hunt-fodder by his tribe, the future looks especially bleak.

The Inferior Summary

The Inferior by Peadar Guiln

There is but one law: Eat or be eaten. But then, on the day he is callously betrayed by his brother, a strange and beautiful woman falls from the sky. It is a moment that will change his destiny, and that of all humanity, forever. With echoes of Tarzan, Conan and the Truman Show, Peadar O Guilin's debut is an action and ideas packed blockbuster that will challenge your perceptions of humanity and leave you hungry for more.

The Inferior Reviews

This is one of the best science fiction novels by a new writer that I have come across for quite some time The School Librarian 20071201 The Inferior is unflinchingly gory and deserves much credit for not sugar-coating its issues SFX Magazine 20071001 This is a stark, dark tale, written with great enery and confidence and some arresting reflections on human nature TES 20070907 A chilling, futuristic tale, which sees humans descend to savagery and cannibalism ... A compelling read for mid-teens -- Mary Arrigan Irish Examiner
