Nursing Standard This book clearly links the topics discussed with the NMC standards for pre registration studnets and as such allows the students to see the relevence to their role and responsibilites. Each chapter follows a logical flow from what is clinical judgement and decision making to confidence in decision making. The chapters all have additional case studies and scenarios for students to explore as well as activites for students to use to further devleop and enhance their learning

A very useful text for students in their final placement. There are very few books that really look at decision making in such a logical and comprehensive manner. The book is clearly laid out and I liked the activities and case studies.

As with the rest of the series this is a very informative and inviting text for nursing students. The layout of the chapters, NMC Standards and ESC and chapter aims are excellent. The case studies and activities are valuable teaching aids.
