The benefits of yoga, both physical and spiritual, are introduced to women in this book. Following an explanation of yoga and instructions for using this book, each chapter contains new positions, so developing a progressive programme of practice. A section entitled Insights gives advice on self-discovery, selected especially for women who wish to improve their understanding of yoga. Also included is a notes section featuring each asana (posture) so that the user can chart the degree of difficulty as her skills progress and record benefits that are felt too.
