Discoverology: Tutankhamun's Tomb Reviews

It's a very physical book - you want to delve into the layers of shrine and unwrap the mummified corpse as you turn the pages - and the information is provided alongside the images and novelties in easily-accessible chunks of text. The book covers a huge amount - from Ancient Egyptian gods and the process of mummification to hieroglyphics and the Rosetta Stone, to objects from everyday life - but it never feels overwhelming, rather like something you want to delve into and explore. Reading Zone Tutankhamun's Tomb, pop-up style. It is quite amazing what can be made to pop-up, and tombs and dead kings are no exception. Book Witch
