About Janet Griffin-Scott

Elin Pendleton has been painting since the age of 9 and selling her paintings since 1983. When she was in her teens, she was recognised for her artistic talent by the late Millard Sheets, and since then she has studied and painted in South America, Central America, and Mediterranean Europe. She is traditionally trained, with a bachelor's degree in fine art from San Diego State University. Elin's award-winning paintings are found in both private and corporate collections throughout the United States and Europe. She has studied with noted artists, and she is a skilled teacher who conducts workshops for aspiring painters. Elin's home and studio are located in the mountainous terrain north of the Temecula wine country of southern California. Perched high on a hill, the studio overlooks the massive mountains of the San Jacinto and San Gorgonio wilderness areas. She lives with her husband, who is a university professor, and a variety of domestic animals, all of which have found their way into her paintings.Janet Griffin-Scott is a painter living with her family and several horses in Ontario, Canada. Although she works in a variety of art media, her favorite is watercolor. Her artwork is featured on a variety of giftware sold internationally.As a young girl, Patricia Getha spent many summers looking after and showing horses. Drawing played a large role in Pats life from an early age, but it was a love of horses that enabled her to master the subject. With formal training in commercial and graphic arts, Pat is proficient in a variety of media, including watercolor, graphite, oil, and colored pencil. She is active in juried competitions and has won several awards for her exquisite equine artwork. A mother of four young children, Pat currently resides in Ohio and works primarily as a commission artist.Patricia Getha of Ohio works primarily as a commission artist and creates stunning artwork in graphite, watercolor, oil, and colored pencil. Janet Griffin-Scott is an artist living on Lake Ontario in Canada. She runs a gallery, framing studio, and a line of greeting cards, stationery, and gifts. Lesley Harrison holds workshops in her hometown of Sutter Creek, CA. She has received a number of professional honors and awards for her technical excellence. Cindy Larimore of Jamul, CA, has won many local and national awards for her animal paintings. Her work is exhibited at animal shows, fairs, and racetracks throughout the US.
