Jane Goldman charts transitions in writing, reading, performing and publishing practices, and in international groupings and regroupings of writers and artists, and interrogates the term 'Modernism' which labels the era. Goldman introduces students to the work of many canonical high modernist writers, such as Ezra Pound, T. S. Eliot, W. B. About Jane Goldman

JANE GOLDMAN is Senior Lecturer in English and American Literature at the University of Dundee. She is the author of The Feminist Aesthetics of Virginia Woolf: Modernism, Post-Impressionism and the Politics of the Visual (1998) and co-editor of Modernism: An Anthology of Sources and Documents (1998).
