Summary
The third crime novel featuring English art historian Jonathan Argyll, and Flavia di Stefano of Rome's Art Theft Squad. Argyll thinks he's made a killing when he sells a minor Titian to an American museum for a grossly inflated sum, but as he basks in the Californian sun things start to go wrong.
