Ceramics Handbooks are a series of practical guides for working potters, students and teachers. Today, most ceramic courses recommend the multiple firing of pieces. However, this was not always the case and this book explains how this change came about. It also discusses the pros and cons of using single firing and dispels many of the myths that have arisen about it.
