Auther Bethany Pease shares a wealth of designs, many of them continuous line, to help you stitch out everything from vines and patterns inspired by nature to more traditional stitch variations featuring feathers. Although this book does not offer page after pafe of full-color quilts featuring Pease's designs, it does give the playful impression of peering insdie a quilt artist's personal sketchbook-which it is, and it is this characteristic that makes it so fresh and fun. The pages are full of fresh and playful quilting designs that look as if they're hand-drawn on the pages. The message here is to have fun and enjoy the process without worrying about perfection. No marking needed for these designs...just practice a bit, sketching on paper, and enjoy the fun of drawing on your quilt as you stitch.
