About Balaji Kumar

Balaji Kumar is Vice President of Systems Planning at Telehub Communication. Previously, he was a Senior Manager at MCIWorldcom, responsible for local network strategy and architecture. He has vast experience within the telecommunications industry in the areas of network planning, process reengineering, and strategic development in the broadband environment. He is the author of Broadband Communications, Signature Edition (McGraw-Hill, 1998). Padmanand Warrier is the Marketing Program Manager for Texas Instruments (TI). He is responsible for product planning and development with TI's Broadband Access Group on the convergence of broadband access and home networking. Previously, he was President and Principal Consultant of Thuriya Consulting. He is a recognized expert on power management issues, protocol stacks, and network architectures.
