About Arie Kaplan

Cesar Samaniego was born in Barcelona on 1975. He grew up with an artist father, smelling his father's oils, reading his comic books, and trying to paint over his father's illustrations! He attended Llotja Arts and Crafts School and graduated with honors in 2010. Since then he has published many books and provided art for apps, textbooks, and animations. Cesar lives in Canet de Mar, a small town on the coast of Barcelona, with his wife, daughter, five cats, and a crazy dog. Cesar Samaniego Barcelona (Spain), Born in 1975. In his thirties and with a daughter on the way, he decided to study illustration at the Llotja school in Barcelona (Spain), specializing in children's illustration. He has published numerous children's books, such as Los tres cerditos: A Fairy Tale by Discover Graphics and Railway Jack: The True Story of an Amazing Baboon with Capstone. He also designs backgrounds for children's animated series. Besides drawing, he also enjoys the small pleasures of everyday life, such as getting lost in the woods, playing the guitar and reading a good book. He now lives in Canet de Mar, a small coastal town in Catalonia, with his wife, his daughter, five cats and a slightly crazy dog, his great little universe.
