The Cardiorespiratory System: Integration of Normal and Pathological Structure and Function by Anthony S King (University of Dundee)
The thorax contains one of the most important systems of the body, the cardiorespiratory system. This text explains the normal and pathological anatomy and physiology of the cardiorespiratory system, and the anatomical basis of related diagnostic and surgical procedures. As in the previously published volume on the CNS, course components are integrated without the restrictions of traditional subject boundaries.
