Lady Silverdale's Sweetheart and Other Stories by William Black
1892. New and Revised Edition. 215 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth. Rear free endpaper appears to have been removed. Pages are lightly tanned and foxed throughout, heavier to endpapers and pastedowns. Heavy cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding, with pages loose from binding. Cracking to hinges with exposed binding, causing boards to be loose. Binding is shaky. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Scuffing and light marking overall. Mild tanning to spine and edges. Water staining to rear board. Speckled white marking to spine.
