Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book and on text block edges and half title. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper, erased. Boards have some edge wear, with pronounced bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are crushed and frayed. Rather scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Boards have various dust stains, marks, stains, scratches and some mottling. Notable crack to upper front joint. Boards slightly bowed. Gilt is bright.
