Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Illustration is moderately tanned with some foxing. Exposed gutters but binding remains firm. Previous owner's inscription in pen with "Hampton Court Palace" written and the person's name. Boards have heavy edge wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Book has a very slight forward lean. Sunning to spine and edges and the embossed pattern faded. White streak to back board as well as a small paper surface rip.
