1904. Third Edition. 736 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt titles and decoration to front and spine. Publisher's adverts to rear. Photos embedded in text. Includes various diagrams. Upper text block edge gilt. Pages are rather marked with pronounced tanning and foxing, plus thumbing. Foxing intense towards the start and end of the book. Hinges are cracked with exposed netting, however text block remains firm. Text block edges are heavily tanned and foxed. Boards have pronounced edge wear, with bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are crushed and frayed. Rather scratched, rubbed and marked overall. A few white marks to spine. Gilt is bright.
