Translated by W Gaussen. Upper text block edge gilt. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper. A few edge tears and creases, as expected with this paper. Boards have some edge wear, with pronounced bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are slightly crushed. A bit scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Book has a substantial forward lean.
