Slight crinkling to paper at gutters, however binding remains firm. Water staining to text block edges with marks to rear endpaper and pastedown. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Plates are moderately tanned with some foxing. Boards have visible edge wear with corner bumping. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Fraying with small splits to spine edges. Heavy water staining overall, causing boards to be slightly discoloured. Book has a slight forward lean.
