Richard Mosse is an Irish conceptual documentary photographer living and working in New York. The focus of this volume, Broken Spectre 2018-20, is his most ambitious project to date. Comprising film and photography made over three years spent in the Amazon rainforest it has been described by the Economist as 'Powerful and urgent - a reminder of art's ability of shift perceptions.'

The Tate Photography Series is a celebration of photography by artists in the Tate collection, presenting the work of some of the most significant photographers in the world today. Each book features a specially selected sequence of images alongside an introduction and a conversation with or about each photographer's practice. The unifying theme for this second group of titles in the series is Ecology and Environment.
