Immunization in Practice: A Guide to Health Workers Who Give Vaccines by World Health Organization(WHO)
This book was produced in recognition of the need for training materials in the delivery of vaccines. It is accompanied by a teacher's guide and suggested practical exercises. The set of seven modules have been revised since they were first produced in 1984, and now include the development of new methods of sterilization and the wider use of the one dose BCG syringe. The manual is written in simple English and is intended for healthworkers, paediatricians and for the use of non-governmental organizations, voluntary hospitals and training schools. It explains what vaccinators need to know, describing and illustrating the necessary skills.
