About Wendell French

Wendell French, PhD Harvard University, is a retired professor of management and organization from the University of Washington. His fields of specialty are organizational development and human resource management, including team building, inter-group team building, and human resource policies. His consulting work focuses on participative approaches to organizational improvement, assessment of HRM programs, and management and supervisory development. He is the author of several books and has contributed to numerous business and professional journals. Cecil H. Bell (1935 - 2009) was born in Nashville, TN. He earned his master's degree in General Psychology at Boston University in 1960. He taught for 30 years at the University of Washington Graduate School of Business, Department of Management and Organization. He is the author of numerous publications and the co-author of a well-known book in his field of study, Organization Development: Behavioral Science Interventions for Organization Improvement.
