Paul Klee defined himself as a painter poet , and his art perfectly reflects that phrase. He was interested in colour, and formed friendships with other artists also exploring colour, such as Kandinsky, Picasso and Braque.
His experimentation with backgrounds, shapes, colour, sign and pictograms, as well as with light and colour, are all portrayed in his work.

Sylvie Delpech studied history of art and worked in imaging technology for television, before returning to Paris, where she works in photography and on children' s books.

About Sylvie Delpech

Caroline Leclerc studied history at Harvard University, USA. She is the Editorial Director of a large publishing company in Paris. A huge fan of contemporary art, she shares an unbridled passion for stickers with her children! She lives in Paris, France.

Sylvie Delpech studied history of art, and then spent many years in Italy where she worked with new imaging technologies for television. Since returning to France, she has devoted her time to photography and to editorial projects such as children's books on art. She lives in Paris, France.
