The Boggart Summary

The Boggart by Susan Cooper

THE BOGGART is a rollicking tale of a Canadian family, who inherit an ancient Scottish castle. But the castle isn't their only inheritance. With it comes the Boggart - a non-creature from the misty landscape of an earth magic older than time itself. What happens when this timeless creature of the ancient Scottish clans is transplanted into the hustle and bustle of city life in modern day Canada forms a compelling and very funny story. An explosion of pranks, keeps the reader on the edge of his seat until the final call of the bagpipes fades to silence over the dark loch.
