Pebble the tortoise and Zoom the sea turtle become best friends and have lots of fun together in their different homes. But one day Zoom doesn't come to Cobble Cove. Turtle in a Tangle Reviews

Beautiful story with an important message! This book is perfect for young children to learn about caring for our oceans and sea life. Children will fall in love with the main characters Zoom and Pebble and will be eager to learn how we can reduce plastic pollution. The website the author has created has got lots of quality activities to accompany the book. I have recommended this book to my primary school teacher friends as I feel both the book and accompanying display packs and resources would be ideal for teachers to use; A story full of excitement, friendship and fun! This is a lovely book that gently demonstrates how pollution is affecting our ocean in a child friendly way. My daughter was hooked and didn't take her eyes of the book as I read it to her. This will be a story that you could read over and over again. It's most definitely a book that will sparkle on the shelf before she goes to bed; A lovely book giving such an important message in a child friendly manner. My 4 year old immediately wanted to go out and clean the ocean and beaches. Engaging illustrations for my 2 year old and brilliant resources available on the author's website too! It's quickly become a favourite read in our house; I bought this book for my nephew and nieces, they really enjoyed it, "I liked how the people and sea creatures worked as a team." Lenny, 10. "I liked the friendship between Zoom the sea turtle and Pebble the tortoise." Flo, 7. "I like the tortoise going for a ride on Zoom's back!" Mia, 3. Their mum really liked it because it gives a hopeful slant on the plastic issue. Instead of being doom and gloom there is positivity: the kind and helpful humans doing beach clean ups to gradually clear the plastic mess and help save the oceans; I bought this book to read with my six year old granddaughter and she -and I- absolutely loved it. Its message of friendship is so meaningful to children of this age just starting to form their own friendships. The importance of keeping our beautiful oceans free of pollution is told in an easy to understand way and made such fun with the fabulous captivating illustrations of Pebble, Zoom and their friends. I highly recommend this beautiful children"s book.
