This primary language programme is designed specifically to support pupils who are broadly one level of achievement below where they should be for their age. It supports average pupils through slow pace reading, lots of repetition and reviewing of grammar points. It covers all aspects of language work, with an emphasis on handwriting, the area where many pupils underperform. This skills book has an easy-to-follow format with "help boxes" to provide extra support and "Challenge Flaps" to allow pupils to conceal or reveal the "help boxes", depending on their level of confidence.
