About Root Phyllis

Phyllis Root's numerous children's books include "One Duck Stuck" and "Big Mama Makes the World". She teaches a writing class, and loves to read, camp and sail in her spare time. She lives in a 100-year-old house in Minnesota, USA, with her family. Axel Scheffler was born and brought up in Hamburg.
