Introducing Management in a Global Context Reviews

Introducing Management in a Global Context, perhaps uniquely for a stage one introductory text on management, is a book infused with a real sense of exuberance. It covers all the basics, concisely and with great clarity throughout, but at every turn there are pleasant surprises. Lessons from history, telling stories, teachings of philosophers and diverse cultural insights all mingle freely and instructively with a wide range of management models and constructs. Few textbooks inspire the reader through joy in learning: this one does. Professor Charles Harvey, Professor of Business History and Management, Newcastle University -- Profressor Charles Harvey
