About Petra Kuppers

Petra Kuppers is a community artist, a disability culture activist and Associate Professor of English, Theatre and Women's Studies at the University of Michigan. She is the author of Disability and Contemporary Performance: Bodies on Edge, 2003, and The Scar of Visibility: Medical Performances and Contemporary Art, 2007.
